Slash: Lineup For Solo Touring Band Announced

Slash’s touring band will appear at Ohio’s Rock On The Range festival in May, with more dates to be announced soon. Slash will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show “Rockline” with host Bob Coburn on Monday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Slash performed a song called “By The Sword” off his upcoming self-titled solo album at a benefit concert this past Sunday (November 22) at the Avalon in Hollywood, California. The show, billed as “Slash & Friends”, was a fundraiser for the Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) is a non-profit organization providing services to homeless and runaway youth.

Slash’s solo album – called “Slash & Friends” – is reportedly due for release in early 2010. The album is confirmed to feature a number of guest musicians, including Nick Oliveri, Iggy Pop, Flea, Ronnie Wood, Jason Bonham, Fergie and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.
