Megadeth front man and guitarist Dave Mustaine is pondering an early retirement from the band – due to unrelenting problems with his neck. The 48-year-old thrasher takes the blame for his own health issues, and admits he’s punished his body for decades of headbanging during performances.

The question of who is a better band Metallica or Megadeth ranks up there as one of the great debates of our time. Ginger or Mary Ann, parkay or butter, Pepsi or Coke? Now before I begin, let me put you out of your misery. The answer all lies in what criteria or measuring rubric you use to score what is good. Here are a few guidelines that I use in determining what is musically “good”. My answer is Metallica.

Megadeth’s New song – 1,320

Megadeth–the legendary metal band has posted one of their new songs from their forthcoming new studio album, “Endgame”. You can find their new song “1,320″ on Megadeth’s official Myspace page. The album is scheduled to be released through Roadrunner Records on September 15th. The band recently shot a music video for the song, “Headcrusher” which should be released soon.
