Slash: Lineup For Solo Touring Band Announced

Legendary guitarist Slash has announced the lineup for his solo touring band:

  • Slash – Guitar
  • Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) – Vocals, Guitar
  • Bobby Schneck (Weezer, Green Day) – Rhythm Guitar
  • Dave Henning (Doug Pinnick, Big Wreck) – Bass
  • Brent Fitz (Alice Cooper, Vince Neil) – Drums

Slash: Lineup For Solo Touring Band AnnouncedSlash’s touring band will appear at Ohio’s Rock On The Range festival in May, with more dates to be announced soon.

Slash will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show “Rockline” with host Bob Coburn on Monday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with Slash by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). For more information, visit RocklineRadio.com.

By The Sword“, the first single from Slash’s first true solo album, simply entitled “Slash”, will be released as a digital single on March 28.

“Slash” will be released in North America on April 6 via EMI Label Services and in the UK on May 10 through Roadrunner Records.

It’s nice to see Slash finally putting together a band that is up to his standards. Axel Rose…..enough said, Scott Weiland is an amazing singer/songwriter, but not for Slash’s style. Definitely putting this band/cd on the wishlist
