Megadeth front man and guitarist Dave Mustaine is pondering an early retirement from the band – due to unrelenting problems with his neck. The 48-year-old thrasher takes the blame for his own health issues, and admits he’s punished his body for decades of headbanging during performances.

R.I.P Kerri Lee Tucker–Kerri Lee Tucker aka “Miss Box Of Junk” girl on VH1 Classic’s television program “That Metal Show”, was reportedly found dead in her apartment early today. She was 25 years old. No further details are presently available.

On December 8th, 2004, one of metals premier guitarists was murdered. Pantera guitarist, Dimebag Darrell was mourned around the world. Five years after his death, some of Metal’s biggest names will gather to release a CD in his honor. The album will be packaged with the 200th issue of U.K.’s Metal Hammer magazine, and will include names like Zakk Wylde, Machine Head, Avanged Sevenfold, and Five Finger Death Punch.

Powerman 5000, Stream, Entire New Album, song, super villain, v is for vampire

Cyber rockers Powerman 5000’s new album, Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere, is finally hitting stores this week. The collection finds the band returning to the hard groove of their earlier work which included hits like “When Worlds Collide” and “Nobody’s Real.” “We made this record with a clear vision and a purpose,” explains frontman, Spider. “We wanted to reclaim a sound we created and represent certain influences as only a band like Powerman 5000 can.
