Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax will share the stage for the first time ever this summer, and all you will have to do to see them, is get to the Czech Republic. The legendary thrashers will play Sonisphere festival, and a few other dates around Europe.

The news was confirmed on the Metallica website, and a small teaser was adding saying that “you can be sure these shows wont be the only ones.” But will you take that chance?

Metal heads have been waiting for over 25 years for these iconic bands to share the stage. Even Lars is blown away by the sheer epicness of the concert. “What a mindfuck,” says Lars. “Bring it on.”

Slayer’s Kerry King adds, “It’s about fucking time this happened. The fans finally get what they want. This is fucking awesome.”

But the concert event was best put into perspective by Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian who says that “no other four bands as influential as the four of us have even done this. Imagine if the Beatles, Stones, The Who, and Zeppelin had done shows? Or Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, and Motorhead?”

The four iconic groups have all sold millions of records, and packed arenas. On June 16th, it is likely that Metallica will headline, but who cares, the four horsemen bring an apocalyptical concert this summer.
